Forward Deployed Engineer

Position Overview: arnata seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with customers and deploy AI Workers that transform business operations in the logistics industry. Key Responsibilities: Embed with customers and learn how they really operate. Design and deploy AI Workers that immediately transform their business. Build lightweight tools, integrations, and logic, then iterate in real time. Debug edge cases and optimize AI performance. Bridge engineering and operations with full ownership from day one. Required Qualifications: 3+ years experience. Strong software engineering background (CS, Physics, Engineering, Math, or self-taught). Proficiency in Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar languages. Comfortable with APIs, data flows, and rapid scripting. Exceptional communicator, you can talk to executives and operators alike. US citizen or visa holder. Preferred Attributes: Founder mindset focused on outcomes rather than titles. Technical capability combined with relentless execution. Ability to thrive in ambiguous, chaotic environments. Experience in logistics, AI deployment, or high-stakes operations (not required). Willingness to travel approximately 25%. Compensation & Location: Salary $150K - $250K. Equity 0.10% - 0.50%. Location San Francisco, CA. Full-time position.
