Forward Deployed Engineer

About the role: We work closely alongside our customers to deploy our technology. As a Deployed Software Engineer at Arondite, you'll be responsible for implementing our technology with customers so that it effectively solves their real-world problems. The role involves traveling to customer sites, deploying products into environments, writing code to connect data sources, interfacing with autonomous systems, and iterating with customers. Key Responsibilities: - Travelling to customer sites to meet users and understand their use-cases - Deploying products into customer environments - Writing code connecting data sources to solve specific customer problems - Interfacing with and testing autonomous and robotic systems in the field - Iterating with customers to refine implementations - Collaborating with engineers across AI/ML, networking, and robotics - Driving a culture of excellence Requirements: - Computer Science or Engineering degree - Strong programming ability in C++, Java, Rust, Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript - Enthusiasm for working across diverse tech stacks - Strong customer-facing communication abilities - Willingness to travel 1-4 days weekly domestically or 2-3 weeks internationally - Existing UK Right to Work - Willingness to pursue Security Check (SC) vetting (requires 5+ years UK residency) - Office-based work by default Compensation: Competitive salary, equity options, 7% pension, health insurance, and relocation support.
