Forward Deployed Engineer

This role bridges Artifact's core engineering team and advanced hardware companies in aerospace, robotics, and manufacturing sectors. Key Responsibilities: Interface with aerospace, robotics, and manufacturing companies to deploy and support Artifact. Build applications, pipelines, and scripts to support customer deployments, feature-requests, and bug fixes. Collaborate with core engineering team to determine product priorities, system architecture, and UX design. Travel occasionally to customer sites to support deployments, train users, and gather feedback. Required Qualifications: Minimum 3+ years as full-stack software engineer (React, TypeScript, Python). Experience with physical systems including robotics, aerospace, automotive, or industrial applications. Ability to debug across technology stacks with motivation for quick, robust solutions. Strong communication and cross-functional team collaboration experience. Compensation & Details: Salary $120K - $170K. Equity 0.30% - 1.20%. Location: Los Angeles, CA.
