Forward Deployed Engineer

Auctor builds AI infrastructure for professional services and software implementation, automating documentation, discovery, and decision-making across the services industry. This role centers on owning end-to-end implementation of custom integrations for strategic customers and architecting workflows tailored to enterprise requirements. Candidates will collaborate directly with customers ranging from technical teams to executives, working to scope problems and ship solutions. Additional duties include developing agentic systems operating over large unstructured data, working across the full technology stack, and feeding product insights back to the core team. The company seeks candidates with strong programming fundamentals, proficiency in Python and TypeScript (preferring Next.js experience), and comfort managing multiple customer engagements simultaneously. Excellent communication skills, particularly translating technical complexity for non-technical stakeholders, are essential. Prior startup or high-intensity work experience is valued. Location is New York, NY (in-person, 5 days/week), full-time, US citizen/visa only. Compensation: $175,000-$290,000. Benefits include early-stage equity, competitive salary, and catered meals.
