About the role
Automat builds an AI agent platform for web automation. As Forward Deployed Engineer, you own the customer account end-to-end with no account managers in between. You use Automat Studio alongside tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cursor, Windsurf, and Lovable to configure and deploy AI agents for each customer's specific browser-based workflows. You translate customer requirements into working automations, troubleshoot issues live with customers, and feed product insights directly to the engineering team. $145K–$200K. San Francisco.
