Forward Deployed Engineer

CollectWise seeks a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to lead customer implementations end-to-end, blending software engineering with hands-on client work at their Y Combinator-backed startup automating debt collection with AI. Key Responsibilities: Build and maintain custom integrations with client systems. Configure and productionize AI agents for each client, including prompts, workflows, and data transfers. Develop and implement client solutions using modern back-end frameworks. Translate customer requirements into technical specifications and ship solutions rapidly. Build internal tools to streamline and standardize implementation processes. Required Qualifications: Experience with Node.js, React.js, AWS, SQL, and GPT-5 or similar LLMs. Experience building products in a production environment through startups or significant projects. Strong communication skills and work ethic. Preferred: voice AI experience and cross-disciplinary versatility. Compensation & Details: Salary $240,000-$300,000 based on experience. Significant equity compensation. Full-time position in New York, NY. Minimum 1+ years experience required. US citizen/visa sponsorship only. Company context: five-person team that reached $2M annualized run rate within months, targeting $10M in the next year.
