Forward Deployed Engineer

Build enterprise-grade AI agents from the ground up as a Forward Deployed Engineer, working closely with experienced technologists to shape agentic AI systems at an early-stage startup. Responsibilities: Construct production-ready AI agents from scratch. Partner with CTO Sashank (former Apple ML scientist) on technical development. Engage customers to understand workflows and translate requirements into robust solutions. Deploy cutting-edge AI capabilities in live environments. Work collaboratively with engineers from major tech companies. Qualifications & Requirements: Recent CS graduate or equivalent professional experience. Strong software engineering fundamentals. Python proficiency along with modern web frameworks and cloud infrastructure knowledge. Genuine interest in AI, ML, and intelligent systems. Self-directed problem-solving ability in uncertain situations. Bonus: Prior LLM, ML framework, or agent architecture experience. Compensation & Location: Salary $120K-$180K. Equity 0.10%-0.20%. Primary location San Francisco, CA. Remote options available for exceptional candidates.
