Forward Deployed Engineer

Greenlight Consulting seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to design and operationalize AI agent workflows and intelligent automation solutions, working directly within client environments to deploy production-grade solutions using Anthropic's Claude platform. Key responsibilities: lead technical discovery workshops; design end-to-end agent architectures; build Claude Skills encoding client-specific processes; develop MCP connectors integrating AI agents with enterprise systems (CRMs, ERPs); implement advanced LLM patterns including RAG and multi-agent orchestration; conduct rigorous validation before client deployment; write production-quality Python or Node.js code for data pipelines and integrations; build reusable Skills libraries; contribute to pre-sales activities; mentor client teams on AI implementation best practices. Required: 3–5 years combining technical depth with consulting acumen; hands-on LLM platform expertise (particularly Claude); Claude Skills and Cowork framework knowledge; MCP connector design; Python/Node.js proficiency; REST/GraphQL API development; cloud platform familiarity (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Ideal candidates demonstrate technical depth with consulting presence and understand how large language models fail under operational pressure. Based in Ontario, Canada (Toronto preferred); hybrid with regular client travel. $90,000–$130,000 CAD.
