Forward Deployed Engineer

Position Overview: HappyRobot seeks a versatile engineer combining technical expertise with strong communication skills to work directly with customers on platform implementation and optimization. Key Responsibilities: Customer-Facing Engineering - Collaborate with customers from onboarding through ongoing support, helping them integrate and optimize AI solutions. Technical Development - Build features, MVMs, and scalable solutions impacting customer outcomes. Full-Stack Development - Use React, TypeScript, Node.js, and Python for robust applications and tools. AI/ML Applications - Design and implement AI/ML solutions, including LLM prompting, tuning of voices, and transcribers. Integration & APIs - Manage APIs and third-party system integrations. Cross-Functional Collaboration - Partner with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams. Iterative Problem-Solving - Continuously improve AI solutions based on customer feedback. Project Management - Prioritize multiple projects under tight deadlines. Required Qualifications: Strong full-stack experience: React, TypeScript, Node.js. Hands-on Python proficiency. Experience building AI/ML applications including LLM prompting and tuning. API management and third-party integration capabilities. Excellent communication skills explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
