About the role
Forward Deployed Engineer - UK. This position embeds technical engineers with strategic customers to manage the complete deployment lifecycle, from initial setup through operational independence. Key Responsibilities: Technical Implementation - Own end-to-end technical onboarding for enterprise customers (EMR integrations, SSO, SCIM provisioning, data pipelines, and security configuration). Design and build custom clinical workflows through direct collaboration with clinical and operational teams. Serve as escalation point for complex technical issues across the stack. Customer Partnership - Act as trusted technical advisor to clinicians and IT teams throughout deployment. Leave every customer more capable than you found them; document, train, and build internal knowledge. Translate field observations into actionable insights for Product and Engineering teams. Tooling & Automation - Build scripts and automation to accelerate deployments and improve reliability. Develop solutions enabling scalable customer operations. Requirements: Experience - 4+ years in forward deployment, implementation engineering, or customer-facing technical roles (SaaS, healthtech, or enterprise software preferred). Hands-on coding ability across Python, JavaScript, SQL, or similar languages. Technical Knowledge - Strong expertise with REST APIs, SAML/OIDC, SCIM, and ideally FHIR/HL7. Experience managing enterprise customer integrations. Skills - Ability to own ambiguous, high-stakes problems independently. Strong communication across both technical and clinical audiences. Background working embedded with enterprise health systems is advantageous.
