FDE embeds directly inside customer organizations, writing real code and architecting integrations at the intersection of digital engineering workflows (CAD, CFD, FEM pipelines) and mission-critical operations. Partners with Istari Program Managers embedded in same customer environments. Translates field experience into actionable product insights. Strong software engineering fundamentals; hands-on experience with digital engineering toolchains (CAD, CFD, FEM); US citizenship required; clearance eligibility required; active clearance strongly preferred. FDE career path stays technical (not account-focused). $143,000-$165,000 + bonus + equity.
