Forward Deployed Engineer

Latent Labs builds frontier generative biology models for drug discovery and protein engineering -- team co-developed DeepMind AlphaFold and invented latent diffusion. Forward Deployed AI Engineer serves as the bridge between frontier biology models and pharmaceutical/biotech customers. Owns full lifecycle of customer deployments: technical scoping, API integrations, data pipelines, model-serving infrastructure. Works on-site/embedded internationally with pharma/biotech partners. CS/ML degree; demonstrated experience deploying AI systems for external customers; hands-on AWS and cloud infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD); strong cross-functional communication. Bio/protein design background and pharma industry experience are strong differentiators. Competitive compensation with private health insurance, pension, hybrid working. SF and London sites.
