About the role
Owkin is an agentic AI company building K Pro -- an AI scientist platform for pharmaceutical research. Senior FDE designs, builds, and deploys production-grade solutions on K Pro for leading pharma/biotech companies. Works significantly on-site at customer premises. Builds integrations, data pipelines, and APIs; translates ambiguous scientific challenges into software. Acts as technical cornerstone -- mentors junior FDEs and sets high engineering standards. 5+ years backend engineering; fluent Python; LLM and agentic AI framework experience; strong communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders. Drug development pipeline knowledge a bonus. Remote (UK, Germany, or France). Participates in on-call rotation.
