About the role
Paddington Robotics is a seed-stage startup building applied AI and hardware for robots navigating supermarkets and retail stores. Magic Pony co-founder and engineers from Amazon and InstaDeep. FDE leads robot installation, commissioning, and site-specific configuration at UK customer locations; serves as primary on-site troubleshooter for software, hardware, networking, and electrical issues; collaborates with engineering to identify improvement patterns from field data. Ideal: multidisciplinary experience in mechatronics, electrical engineering, or robotics with hands-on debugging ability. Willing to travel 3-4 days weekly and support early morning operational shifts. Entry level, full-time, London.
