About the role
Polaron is a battery AI company building electrochemical digital twins. As Forward Deployed Engineer (Batteries), you work directly with battery manufacturers and R&D teams to deploy Polaron's AI models into their workflows. Requires a Master's degree minimum and 2+ years of battery industry experience. Key skills: PyBaMM for electrochemical simulation, SEM and microstructure analysis, Python scripting. You translate customer battery testing data into model inputs, validate simulation outputs against physical experiments, and co-own product configuration with the Polaron engineering team. London-based. £55K–£70K + meaningful stock options.
