About the role
Veritus is an AI-native consumer lending platform automating collections through voice AI agents, replacing human collectors with faster, cheaper, compliant alternatives. YC Summer 2025. Vertically integrated model acquiring charged-off debt. Forward Deployed Software Engineer translates customer-specific requirements and compliance constraints into robust, testable logic. Constructs backend integrations enabling agents to connect with APIs, CRMs, and payment platforms. Optimizes latency and voice quality through OpenAI, ElevenLabs, and Deepgram. Designs A/B tests for business outcomes. Requires: TypeScript or Python, API design/consumption, comfort with low-latency interruptible real-time voice systems, motivation for regulated environments. Preferred: voice design experience, financial services background, Spanish fluency. $150K-$200K + 0.10%-0.50% equity. SF in-office.
